I can record stereo on my XH A1 by using two mikes and both XLR inputs.

To get a stereo sound for the video though I have to split the tracks(haven't done that much) with a photo/video software program.

Are you trying to get stereo sound in your video? Or are you looking to improve sound?

Here's a link to a video I did a few years back using two mikes run simultaneously into my XH A1. I didn't try to get a stereo sound...just a larger sound.
