I think Nigel has tried to make it as clear as possible that he'd like this topic to end. He's already shut it down twice. How much of a 'hint' do you need.

BTW, no one enjoys discussing religion and politics more than me but if the forum administrator doesn't want the 'heat' it usually generates on THIS forum, I think we should abide by that.
Chas, I don't object to any discussion here in The Bar but when a thread starts spiralling down the toilet bowl I then decide to shut it down. If a thread with a different spin on the topic appears then that is fine. But if it gets out of control I will simply shut it down as well. But I never take anything personally about what is posted in The Bar.
And even you would have to admit that thread I shutdown had got really bogged down to the point of putting us to sleep.
