Yesterday I paid attention in what way the Balkan flood was covered in the most popular German news program, Tagesschau. They mentioned it rather towards the end of the news, said it was dramatic and showed some pictures. They did NOT show any account numbers or phone numbers how to donate money. Often this is done in the case of disasters. I really don't know why the charity organizations seem to be less active in this case, and what the criteria are...
