Sounds like the input will work for guitar Dave.

From the manual.............
"When the “Left In to Voice Processor” routing option is selected
in the Audio & Video > Audio In page, you can still use the Right
In to connect a mono line source. The Right In audio signal is
replicated on both Audio Outs. It is also recorded when recording
an MP3 Song."

Now I just have to save up to get one. Taxman was not kind this time around.
