I think it is wise you haven't become attached to one company, Mike.

As I said in my post above..."If they (Casio) put as much effort into an arranger keyboard as they have done recently with synths and digital pianos, they'd quite likely come up with a real game-changer and have Roland, Korg and Yamaha scrambling to keep up. So far, in my opinion, Casio's arrangers are still a bit short of the mark, but who knows what the future will bring?"

Greed is a horrible thing, practiced not by a company, but by individuals within that company...companies themselves are incapable of human feelings.

I hope that some company finally makes something within, both your needs, and, your budget, and you are able to get back to using an arranger, and enjoying music like the rest of us who have decided to invest in one.

I know, for me (and I don't think I'm alone), buying an arranger (in my case,a Yamaha Tyros4) was one of the most rewarding investments I have made.
