Many thanks Bob for responding. The service agent is the main provider of keyboard service for all makes including Technics, and has been established for many years. Though he admits that he could not trace the fault, and has had the keyboard for 16 months on the hope that another one would come into his workshop and then he could compare, however, this unfortunately has not happened...so keeping my fingers crossed. regards Jim
