TWD,

A little bird told me that you fixed his Audya for him and it's now works perfectly, I wish to thank you for that, you are a good guy. Just wanted to know how and what ketron are doing with the Audya, perhaps a face lift now they have sorted and fine tuning out, times are bad out there and not many people got that sort of cash, anything now will need to be worth changing and sound much better and look good. I think only the big boys will have the cash to do this.

BTW TWD Henni has an Audya, battered around in the African bush, full of dust, runs off a generator, pounded by the sun and it still works, can't be all bad, wonder what day that Audya was made, got to be Wednesday... party

Tony

The problem your little bird told you about turned out to be two issues:
1) a non compatible hard drive supplied by a third party specialist. (indicated by the HD LED on all the time)
2) his 76 key Audya had been force loaded with Audya 5 OS and would not accept OS updgrades. (this is also linked to no. 1 and I still don't understand how it was accomplished!)

Once the correct hard drive was installed and the main board forced with the correct OS it was plain sailing. Just had to do a factory restore followed by the various updates. Its no wonder nobody could sort the keyboard out remotely!
