I guess that's an SMF, right, Fran?

It sure could do with some Makeup Tools. Me, I'd turn down the velocity and volume on that closed hi-hat, and maybe EQ some highs from it. It sticks out like a sore thumb!

TBH, I'm not particularly impressed with that SMF except perhaps the clarinet performance. The string voicings are stodgy and dark, the bass line seems incorrect (at least to my memory of Acker Bilk's version), there seem to be no dynamics.

I am sure the BK could be Makeup Tooled to sound MUCH better than this... But major surgery seems needed for it to get to the next level.
