I have a Theremin, assembled from a kit which is still available from Paia. It's easy to assemble; even I could do it.

Actually, when I was in California, I saw the Beach Boys, and the lead singer was playing a machine that sounded like a Theremin on "Good Vibrations", but was played using what looked like a thin lap steel bar. It was played moving the bar horizontally, rather than the UP and Down hand method used by Brian in his demonstration.

Of course, many Roland synths have a similar controller built in. I particularly like the one on my SH 201 synth.

What a neat piece of music history!

Tony, you'd ROCK on one!
