Takei sent me this link the other day. Not to post; he could have done that himself. But after reading it, I just felt that it was damn close to required reading for anyone interested in music education. Is it opinionated? Perhaps, but it's beautifully written and there is a lot of good information in there. Plus, it will make some of us reflect on ourselves and our musical abilities. It's a little lengthy (like it could have been written by Diki ), but worth the investment in time to read it. It's entitled 'Why do I like jazz'. Enjoy.
