We do have a PIANIST Mode which allows you to eliminate the split all together. Using a sustain pedal you can (when pressed) freeze the chords and play solo throughout (chords are not recognized) or when you release the pedal, play and have the AUDYA recognize the chords.

Also in SPLIT mode (with 1 or 2 voices on the left) you can play and have the keyboard change chords ONLY when 3 notes are pressed (STYLE_MODE - CHORD MODE = FINGER 2. or EASY 2). The arranger waits until you press a complete chord (3 or more notes) before playing that chord.

Are any of these features what you were refering to?
