Yea, Donnie, Nigel is right. I suppose if you haven't touched a real one for a while, some of the optional units do o k. But you're talking to one old timer who doesn't even like to use anything but TUBE Leslies.
I play a B-3 two to 4 nights a month and have an M-1, XB-2 and a 147 RV in the office.
Even my beloved Nord C-1 is a barely acceptable substitute.
But, you gotta remember; in the moment, you have more than just the sound.
Playing a noisy, heavy old mechanical B-3 is an experience.
Then, there's the matter of continuous, expensive maintenance of both the B-3 and the Leslies. Maybe I'd better listen to this little Korg a little closer (LOL)!

Russ...I understand what your saying , I also played a B3 many years way before arrangers were even on the market in the 60's/70's......all I was trying to find out is your opinion on what a KMA $499.00 arranger organs sounded like compared to the B3....good bad or indifferent. In no way are they better,... but they are not that bad "for the price" don't you think?..
