Had a B-3 job with my grandson on drums last night. Normally, we use a horn, but Robb couldn't make it, so I took my new Micro and put it on top of the suitcase I use on my right, at 90'. I use a Roland 201 on top of the B.
Without spending a long time customizing, I found several horn
presets I likes and used them to "sweeten".
I have used a mid-80's MicroSynth for nearly 30 years, occasionally, so the keys had a familiar feel...kind of like the 3rd keyboard I had one on a Yamaha Electone I played for several years.
I think, Like Deane, I believe it's not the "end-all" board to perform with, but compact, fun, useful for doing roughs and could be used in arranger mode for gigging in a pinch.
