Hi Scott
In my other post I said I had just been trying the PRM program and it does work quite well once you sus it out. It took me quite a while to work out how to save a style bank.
When you have loaded the database with styles which is explained in the notes you can then transfer any style across into a new bank. Then comes the tricky bit. When you save the new bank and give it a name etc it is then saved into a hidden database. (It doesn't mention this in the notes) Go to the bank menu and "load" a new bank this will display a list of banks previously saved. The one you have been working on should be present with your name and description. Highlight your new bank and select load bank. The new bank will re-appear on the right hand side of the main screen. Select make sty file from the bank menu.
New window appears allowing you to select where and how you wish to save the new bank, I have been using make user01.sty make your choice and press make sty. The new bank will be saved to your chosen location.
PS: before you do all this in the first screen select parameters and in the path for floppy type in your sd card mine is d:/
PRM will know where to save the new bank.
There is another handy programm called KSS or korg sniffer this allows you to open any PA50/60/80 style bank ie USER01.sty
and see what styles are in there.
Regards and good luck
Col
PS any problems let me know.
