Bill, I have two Bose Compacts and only have the Podiums for backup. I've used two of them a few times. One is still in the box unopened.
They sound very good for what they are, but of course at one-tenth the price they won't be Bose!
Please consider buying Fran's first. Actually I think they are now DNJ's. His post just reminded me that I had some of them, and that I CAN recommend them.
