Hi Ian,
yeh, I had it too when it first came out. On my Atari 1040 if I remember correctly. Unfortunately I doubt the realtime function will ever happen, but , who can predict. What is achievable now, couldn't have been imagined 20 years ago.
I'm just happy playing along to a song or mp3. The styles are so different to what's on my korg. Even though the korg does a great job on "guitar mode" styles, to me still doesn't sound as good as an audio track of a real guitar strumming away.
I think BIAB & my Korg compliment each other nicely. Great to hear from you again Ian.
That is one COOL program, Rikki.
I remember the very 1st version of BIAB; we had it installed in one of our computers way back when I was working in Newfoundland in late 80's/early 90's. Apparently the program was invented by a dentist who was also a musician/computer buff.
We thought it was pretty spiffy back then...it is unbelievable now.
My only wish would be "live" play arranger capability.
You will be having fun, fun, fun.
Ian
