Don't want to interfere, but I've been using the free version of Malwarebytes for 3 years. I perform a quick scan about every 2-4 weeks. Before scanning, click the Update button first to check for a download of the latest database.

Malwarebytes, Super Anti-Spyware, Microsoft Security Essentials, and C-Cleaner is a good combination for me and Windows 7. And they are all free.
