Hi John
Thanx for the reply. Yes, I'm aware that you can save around 10 different parmeters in the registrations.
Now that I'm working with the new software, Open Text, I can press a reg mem saved with song title and it will bring up a pdf of a lead sheet on my laptop. Pretty cool I must say.
I'm wanting to save the data to my hd and also a usb. I have become aware of the issue of the file path. Aparently you can load the data pasted on the usb into the hd of a T2, T3 and T4 and that should work fine. I think????
But, if I should want to use these registrations on a S910, which I understand plays T2 styles pretty good as is, that the 910 has no hd and it would have to work off the usb if at all.
This will make changing from one keyboard to another as quick as insterting the usb stick. No more having to redo everything before being able to play a different instrument.
So, I'm really thinking ahead on this one to make things real easy as I go to different instruments either as a backup or having purchased a new keyboard. This will be great because I know all the new keyboards work backwards and will use the older style format if desired/needed.
Some of the things I've mentioned I am assuming to be the case. If anyone see's any error to my approach I would love to hear about it now before I get knee deep.
