Lee they were the early Kurzweil synths...the K1000 and K2000...I have several friends using them that have had many issues with the keys and key contacts.

Of course, it's my opinion, but the keyboard on those synths certainly didn't suit the quality of sound they made.,..they were beautifully sounding instruments with second rate keyboard actions.

Yes, Fatar has improved over the years...as far as I know, the I-series Korgs used Yamaha actions. The newer ones are probably Fatar.
