[quote=DnjTo me Dave ..... spongy Psr = Fast Action wink [/quote]

Donny, I must agree that it's a fast action and I like it better (personal opinion) than the cheaper feeling Fatar used in some of the Korgs.

However, I can't agree that it is in any way "spongy"...it does not feel that way at all...it does have less resistance, and a more shallow key throw, but there's certainly no "sponginess" that I can feel, and I've played them a lot more than most here.

The S910's velocity sensitivity is second to none (again-my opinion)...you can press a key slow enough that there is no sound, much like a piano, and it's a good indication of how well velocity sensitivity is implemented on a keyboard.

Also another reason the S910 action feels "different", is that it does not have aftertouch...now, aftertouch can make a keyboard feel spongy, but only if it is poorly done...thankfully Tyros3/4's FSX action does it perfectly...most Fatar have an uneven rubbery feel because of the way aftertouch is implemented.

If it was me, I'd simply rejoice in the fact that it isn't a Fatar...the fact that it is "fast" is just another nice perk.
