You have to be aware of Ketron's and AJ's representative position. If the software is not suitable for public use as it is then it is not a sound business move for Ketron to make it publicly available. I have met AJ on a number of occasions and know him to be a straight up guy so if he says the software is not available for public release then that is simply how it is. No browbeating is gonna change that. You are lucky to be able to get the official word on the subject here on the BBS. I do understand you want improved control of your setup but you can't force the situation. Either Ketron end up meeting your expectations or you have to consider all available options. But there isn't a UI on any keyboard available that satisfies all users 100%. You just need to weigh the features with the disadvantages when you buy a keyboard. If the system can be upgraded at all later then that is just a bonus.

Now third party software is your own decision to use. Often this is the only software that many keyboards ever see. If it gets good reports from other users then it is well worth trying.
