Try this, it may be the solution to your problem.

Hold down the Memory button (and possibly the Direct Access) which should bring up the 'GROUP SELECT', check the VH/MIC is ticked, if it isn't this is why you cannot save it with your sets. Put a tick in the box and try to save again.
