matias,

Just thought of something... for now.

There is a feature called PIANIST which allows you to play the entire keyboard (disregarding the split point). As soon as a chord is recognized, that is what the arranger will respond to until a valid chord is next played.

Go to EDIT PROGRAM (F7) and create a new program of 2 voices - the first your bass and the second your voice for the right side (eg Piano).

On Pg. 3 of the EDIT PROGRAM page, you can assign response points at which the bass sound will be heard (Left hand C0-D2) and the right voice (D2-C5).

Now, whenever you use this program voice and turn on the PIANIST mode, you can control the arranger by playing the chords and notes with the right hand and the bass with the left. Using a sustain pedal (or footswitch), you can 'lock' the chord such that the arranger will only recognize the next chord played, when you release the pedal - so you can memorize a chord and play solo-base&lead lines over it with the pedal pressed so the chord stays constant etc.

Hope this helpped.

Thanks.

AJ
