I can't answer that from experience, as I just got it and have not learned how to use it beyond changing patches and channels. This is easy.

What convinced me was the degree of control you have. For example,by using templates, and user programs provided,one can quickly match control parameters to many programs. Also, by getting the Axiom 49 or 61,you don't have to go through layers to get to your control parameters, as you have a wealth of buttons,pads,sliders, and dials.

Like I say, I am new to this,but know I have the proper controller .
