Hello Ziad

I understand and respect what you say but let me explain the following points.

(The explanation will be long)

1. KETRON gave me the software plus the hardware to make the sounds, but the tools are not everything. I told KETRON to distribute the tools worldwide but they refused for a very reasonable, logical and descent reason; the tools installation and use are very difficult. The software has to come with a special sound card that emulates the internal engine of the keyboard. The software installation is made manual, so you have to copy DLL files and other EXE files to windows directory and subdirectories plus writing adjustments in several *.ini files and so and so...

The software doesn't have a help file and is several pieces stocked together and once the sounds have been made in wav files and mapped, there is another long and painful stage which is the compiler that compiles the waves and transform it to SND files.

I stayed at KETRON facility in Ancona Italy for ten days from 8:30 AM till 6:00 PM just to learn the editor.

So now you have to see things from the point of view of KETRON, which is a company. If a company has to sell software and a soundboard worldwide, it must be responsible for it. I mean it must give the right support for it and make the installation very easy and to make a good manual plus window help support as also debugging the software on all windows versions (95, 98, ME, 2000, XP) and preventing dll conflicts etc... and the list seems to never end. The programmers among you will understand how long these things will take time, and lets suppose that KETRON do all these things she can't sell the tools and distribute it worldwide without taking the approval from the European comuunity CE that take another long time plus there is the packaging of the tools......... believe me KETRON has not the time or the needed persons and technology to follow this project.

That’s why KETRON can't sell the tools for you. Please don't tell me that why she doesn’t give to the people that ask for it, because the respected companies don't do that, there are legal actions that could be taken against KETRON if the tools caused some damage for the user and the company reputation is in danger here. If I wasn't working for KETRON then I couldn't get the software.

You asked to purchase the programmed flash from me. I am ready to sell the flash but the question is for how much. If I tell you the flash for 500 USD you will say it's too much, even if I tell you 400 USD its still too much for you, but for me it is nothing compared to the hard work it cost me.

I think the best way is to negotiate that matter with KETRON maybe they are ready to pay me for the job for once and they sell it by themselves. We have to wait and see.

In the meanwhile, I remain at your service and your friend (if you accept me) as I thank you in advance for understanding my cause.

Best regards
