If you play primarily instrumental music, the S910 really has the edge over the 3000 because of it's great SA voices, like guitar, sax, organ, strings etc.

If you are mostly a vocalist, then the 3000 should do you just fine...it's a terrific arranger, and light years ahead of the 740.

I had a 740, 3000, S900, S910, and the latter is by far, the best of the bunch.
