Well, SD1 is mainly for "live playing", it have a kind of "dirt" in the sound that make it natural and pleasent.If you're talking about synths tones, they are minimal, strict to basic needs.I had G1000 and VA76 for many years, much better and much more synths there.But is really solid and trusty keyboard, like I said for playing.
