Bill - I've got an R10 and love it. The larger wheels are a plus in bad weather. The stability is very good; you should have no problems. Mine didn't come with an accessory shelf, but something solid for at least part of the base is helpful. I got mine online from http://www.audiolines.com/Accessories-789/Equipment-Carts/Rock-N-Roller-R10 for just $105.
