Isn't this new Roland R Bus system another form of the ADAT verses TDIF argument- ie- another manufacturers method of transferring 8 tracks of up to 24 bit audio down a single line?

I will be interested to see what Roland come up with next with regards to synthes. To be honest, they haven't done that much over the last 7 or so years with their synthes- this is not necessarily a bad thing- it must be good if they are able to continually rehash new products using technology from the early 90's!!!!????
