....a good cross-section of comments...particulary the ones by WirelessDJ. I'm anxious to hear these now. These must be brand new. I heard the older model last year and I thought it sounded great (in the store, at least). I'm also curious about the bass on these units. The one true thing about Mackie's vs EV is that Mackie has a monopoly on bass. I remember one job where another DJ was in the next room, and the walls were vibrating in mine. I went in to see what it was....sure enough, it was a single Mackie 450, and on a pole, no less! I have to run 4 S-300 EV cabinets together to get that kind of bass, and even then it's more of a "clean" bass. Mackie is rough and gritty.....great for dancing!
