The Triton is a quality synthesizer (I'd like one!), but the basic 61 key model costs twice as much as the XP80 here in the UK and personally I prefer the keyboard feel of the Roland.

I think the Triton is great for synth sounds, especially with the moss board, but roland synths are better with acoustic sounds especially if you have the session or orchestral boards fitted; however the grunge and sequencer timing problems of my XP80 really aren't acceptable for an otherwise quality product. As someone mentioned in a previous posting, Roland are likely to announce a new product at the upcoming NAMM show.
