The Triton here in the U.S. is only 300 dollars more than the xp-80.

As for the sequencer timing issue, I learned that it is a problem with the POLYPHONY, not a timing issue, and that when to many NOTES are being used, they drop off, creating the illusion of a timing problem. YOu might want to give it a try.


As for the grunge, it is unacceptable.
Dont ge me wrong, the xp's are killer synths, I liked mine ALOT, thats why I was willing to stick it out and get it repaired, even though it was totally new. But the most improtant thing about a synth is how it SOUNDs to YOU. And if it doesnt sound good, be ith bad synth engine or faulty ouputs, you wont be happy.
