Roland disconinued the dance board (and module) because they were taken to court re- copyright or something like that. I own the dance module and hip hop card. The loops in the hip hop card are all different. As far as I am concerned the dance board(module) is more suited for general commercial dance music as it's loops rance from quite slow to fast and everything in between! However some of the patches are now a bit dated! If I had to chose one over the other, I would definetly get the Hip Hop board. They are great loops and some other great patches are also there. I also own the 'Techno' board which as far as I am concerned is crap! The only reason I bought it was because I thought it WAS THE DANCE BOARD!!!! I think the designers of the loops on this card were on another planet when they were creating them because they are utterly and totally useless as far as I am concerned! And the vocoder speech sounds are a valuable waste of PCM space!
