I own 2 JV1080's and am thinking of selling one to get a JV2080. However, is it true that the 2080 has more midi timing problems than the 1080? I have read this on a number of posts.

Also all this crap of speculating what Roland, Korg, Yamaha etc will bring out next at the NAMM/MUSIKMESSE shows etc- come on guys and gals- lets be content with what we presently own and not get too carried away with TECHNOLUST!

By the way Gorazd, I think that new Roland synthe is called an XP81.5. It has a 32 track sequencer which was designed with the help of one of the big software companies. It's big limitation is that due to the massive amount of DSP power used on the 'SUPER COSM' synthesis and redesigned JV synthesis it will only have up to 16.25 notes of polyphony. However, that should be ample for for a few tracks of music. Just don't play too many big chords also! And of course- you can always hook up external sound modules for more polyphony!!!!!!! Cheers.
