I've had mixed success repairing keys with superglue. As Dikki said, it must an extremely clean break. Otherwise it won't hold. But I did have one hold up for a long time that I repaired that way.
As far as replacing it, it's not that hard. It has been several PSR generations ago since I did it, but I'll bet Gary has done it recently.
