First, thanks to all of your pro's who continually share your ideas and skills, and spirited discussions. For guys like me who lurk in the background, trying to absorb every bit of info you offer, I really appreciate all your inputs. Keep it flowing.
As I was packing up from a small gig the other night, I lost my grip on my PSR-S900 and it fell 5 inches to the floor. Just enough for my finger to snag a key and snap it clean off. My heart sank.
Have any of you ever repaied a key, or opened up your PSR's and performed maintenance? I'm hoping that Yamaha will sell me the replacment key so I can fix it myslef. I just hope that there is no delicate calibration that needs to be done on the keys using special test equipment.
Have any of you ever made this kind of repair?
Thx, Russ
