The only serious drawback to the E-50 (and E-60) is the 64-note polyphony, especially when some entry level arrangers are now using 128.
I suppose 64 could be adequate, unless you are using a sound in the LH, and stacked voices in the RH, whilst using accompaniment....perhaps not many would use it this way, but it is something to consider.
You are probably better off keeping it as alternative to the G70 since you have stated it could be used on your gigs.
