Your post brought back some pleasant memories about the second car I owned. It was a much used automobile I bought when I was 17 it was an 8 year old 1954 Lincoln. It was a wonderfull car for romance with a backseat big enough for a party. The other plus for a big car it was a rocket, seriously It held it own and dominated in many back road races not the legal variety.

I hit a dear with it once doing 60 mph. Didn't even put a dent in it. These early lincolns dominated the Mexecan Road Races in the early fifties.

I wish I had it back!!!!!
