I have never listened to the 10's or 12's...but as Diki says..the larger size from the same manufacturer..usually means better volume...

Diki I only use the 802's as monitors in our large rooms ..with 12" Yorkvilles and Yorkville sub..

Although my mid size jobs as we play this month..we have been just using a pair of 802's..I EQ my keyboards for more bass...and they kick butt....I never had any kind of failure yet...and never needed more than half volume..This month's gig averages around 300 people..
