I'm using a laptop...a Toshiba Satellite Pro with Windows XP...my last computer was a Toshiba Satellite which I gave to a friend and which is still giving great service.

Never a problem with either...Toshiba make great laptops, and there are lots of interesting programs available...most of them free...I like free.

I prefer laptops for their portability, and I like using Windows for it's popularity...great for swapping programs.
