In the manual....(p.78). You simply set the time and date. From that time onwards, ALL files are automatically stamped with the date of creation.

Easy.

And pretty important, as you end up with a bunch of files from different sessions all called exactly the same thing, like STE_001.wav and you don't have time to label them all. Just figure out what day you recorded them on (or month!) and Bob's yer' uncle!
