Smooth, listenable for hours, louder than you can stand and no real need for a sub (flat down to 40Hz or so, not too much roll-off below that, either!).

Just like on a CD, they reveal detail and depth in your arranger's sound that lesser speakers hide and muddy. Not much point in a $4k arranger if you only get to hear $400 worth of the sound, IMO
