Since the Sono 88 is new I found it hard to get any real world reviews or impressions. At the end I decided to order one anyway.

So far I really like it as well. I was wondering if anybody here has used it with Cakewalk Sonar. I just tried today and got mixed results. I was happy with the onboard audio but there are certain annoyances. For example it's hard to turn off the onboard sounds while using purely as a midi controller (since you are monitoring the sono out not the PC sound card you have no choice but to hear whatever the sono is playing).

If you are thinking of buying one I recommend doing your homework well because it can have both good and bad surprises.

But if you know what you are getting into and if it fits your needs, this is a good deal.
