their is a big Diffrence in sounds between the RS-5 and the XP-30 as I ownrS-5 NOW AND USED TO OWN THE xp-30.the Rs-5 sounds like the XV-5080 to me.the XP-30 sounds like the JV-2080.I know Roland doesn't change sounds that much but it's just hOW I feel.the XV-5080 sounds warmer than the JV-2080 and I thought the same for the RS-5 to the XP-30.
