As an owner of an XP-30 let me chim in here. If you're looking to add some sounds I would recommend the JV1080 (2080?) or higher. The JV1010 will only allow one expansion at a time. The JV1080 (2080?) will permit up to 4 expansions. If it is sounds that you are wanting. Now I will advise you to be aware that the JV/XP series will it has 64 voices, those voices are quickly taken up with the amount of processing that is required for each note. I constantly find that I have to record the piano track off to my computer to free up memory, thus providing more background sounds. I've seen the RS series at the local stores, but now played with them. Since I've not really heard/read any earth shaking news from I don't think the sounds vary very much from the JV/XP line. I maybe wrong on this. Do I like my XP30? Yes, but in hind sight I probably should have just purchased a sound module, which would have been less expensive at the time. Just my thoughts.
