Yeah, you're right the slicer effects are nice.I have a SP808 sampler and it has just about the same effects patches in it as the
JX305.I mean the MC505 is a great tool,but so
far since I first posted this message the only real big problem I'm having with the MC303 is MIDI sections.So now that has me spooked about the 505's MIDI.Is it just as complicated?I still think when I'm ready for upgrading it's gonna be the JX305.Once again
I really do like the mc505 for its many different onboard options,but the JX305 looks more of a serious workstation type.I've also demoed both of them in my local gear store and from what I can tell theres not that much difference between the two.(except for D-Beam)
