I especially appreciate the practical suggestions mentioned here - thank you to Mark and everyone else for all the info.

Now I just need to work out the cheapest way to do this! I found a company that would install 2 windows (3" x 6") for $900 - but I would like to find cheaper - if possible - considering I'm renting and don't know how long I'll be staying . . .
