Chony, I have installed windows in a situation where my customer lived near a highway and needed quiet to sleep during the day..We installed triple pane glazing, with insulated chambers[frames]..We then built out from the window with a thermal break material and installed a secondary window[storm window]..It turned out to be super quiet..
