After all the hoopla and cudos and comparisons to the Tyros, I finally got a chance to spend a few minutes with a 2100. It was nowhere near a Tyros in sound, style, arrangements, etc. I have a 2000 and wouldn't even think of moving up to a 2100 now - even the store owner agreed with me. There's certainly nothing new I need there. So for anyone thinking of purchasing a Yamaha PSR 2100, it's a great machine, but it's not a major step up from the 2000. If there is a 2000 available, save the bucks. IMHO.
