Danny, I hear you, because I too was impressed with that demo the first time I heard it, but I can tell you that -even if I played the G 70 twice in a shop (using headphones- I was never able to obtain the same kind of sound, so I guess that to record the demo they used a "souped up" G 70.

My guess is that they messed a lot with the equalization and I wonder why Roland didn't do the same for all the G 70 shipped worldwide. I know that in the global effect section there is an equalizator and a compressor and my feeling is that Roland screwed big time with these settings... except of course in the aforementioned demo!
I am curious to hear other people's feelings about this; Roel, did you demo the G 70 again today (Sunday)?
